About
Chuck Johnson has grown flowers and vegetables all his life. The book was inspired by a bronze cow on the Brandywine River in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Miss Gratz was brought to life in a rural farm setting. I considered writing this book for children as a therapeutic venture.
